Spend Management for Services Procurement

A number of software companies have great content to help educate users or potential customers of their software. I recently ran into a list of great articles at IQNavigator.

Most of the articles are about services procurement solutions. You'll find about how various companies have gone after their services spend. There are a number of articles about temporary services.

One of the more recent articles is titled "Services Spend Opportunity" which provides a point of view that this area is large, under managed and costly.

CFOs have already begun to realize the challenge and opportunity of managing services spending more closely. CFOs surveyed by Forrester Research estimated that streamlining procurement practices could cut services spending by an average of nearly 10 percent, which equates to almost $100M in annual profit improvement at the typical Global 2000 enterprise.
